Due to the Covid pandemic and political unrest in Myanmar, many factories and workplaces were shut down. Many men and women became unemployed. Women have less job opportunities because their lack of skill. By learning how to sew will help women to obtain more job opportunities or able to work at home. There is an increase in the unemployment rate in Myanmar recently, making the need for supporting unemployed women more apparent.
The main goal of this project is to empower women to make positive impact in the family and the community. Women will be equipped to earn a decent living by sewing. At a result, women will be able to send their children to schools and be able to support the family expenses.
