7 Signs of Life (the Gospel of John) (2025)
We’re thrilled to launch our new sermon series, “7 Signs of Life,” exploring the seven miraculous signs in the Gospel of John. Over the next weeks, we’ll journey with Jesus as he turns water into wine, heals the sick, feeds thousands, and even raises the dead. Each sign revealing deeper truths about who He is and what abundant life in Him looks like. This series is designed to warm your heart, spark your faith, and draw us closer together as a community celebrating the life-giving power of Christ.
What Are the “7 Signs of Life”?
In John’s Gospel, each miracle is called a “sign” because it points beyond the miracle itself to Jesus’ identity and mission. Our series will cover:
-
Water into Wine (John 2:1–11)
-
Healing the Royal Official’s Son (John 4:46–54)
-
Healing at Bethesda (John 5:1–15)
-
Feeding the 5,000 (John 6:1–14)
-
Walking on Water (John 6:16–21)
-
Healing the Man Born Blind (John 9:1–12)
-
Raising Lazarus (John 11:1–44)
Why Do These Signs Matter to Us?
Each sign shows Jesus inviting us into new life, a life of joy, healing, provision, trust, vision, and resurrection hope. As a church family, we’ll reflect on how these same signs speak into our everyday struggles: from doubt and fear to longing for deeper purpose.
Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or are curious about what “new life” really means, you have a place here. Join us for our new “7 Signs of Life” sermon series this Sunday—come and discover together the life-changing power of Christ’s miracles, and be part of our celebration!
