Beautiful Community (Winter 2025)

At West Point Grey Baptist Church, we believe that the Church is more than just a gathering of people – it is a living, breathing reflection of God’s love and grace in the world. This January, we are excited to invite you into a new sermon series titled “Beautiful Community.”

In a time when the world feels increasingly divided, we are called to be a community that reflects the heart of Christ – one that serves, worships, reconciles, and gives with open hands and hearts. Through this series, we will explore how God’s vision for the Church is not just a dream, but a present reality we are called to live into.

Each week, we will dive into themes that shape the fabric of our life together:

• Serving Community – How can we embody the humility of Christ by serving each other and our neighbors?
• Christ-Centered Community – At the center of it all is Jesus. How do we keep Him as the foundation and focus of everything we do?
• Worshiping Community – What does it mean to come together in authentic worship that glorifies God and unites us as one body?
• Hopeful Community – In a world that often feels heavy, how do we remain anchored in the hope of the Gospel?
• Generous Community – What does it look like to live with radical generosity, reflecting the heart of a giving God?
• Missional Community – How do we step beyond our walls to share the love of Christ with those around us?
• Reconciling Community – How do we practice forgiveness, seek justice, and build bridges across divides?

This series is not just about learning – it’s about transformation. We believe that as we lean into these truths, we will see the beauty of Christ’s community come to life in new and powerful ways.
